Wayne Rooney may be one of the wealthiest English footballers of all time, but that hasn’t stopped the Manchester United legend from flogging his car on Autotrader like the rest of us.

It’s fair to say Rooney has treated himself to his fair share of swanky motors over the years.

From elegant orange Bentleys to slick black Lamborghinis, the former England captain has driven them all.

But he’s clearly grown tired of this £50,000 Range Rover Sport, which has been put up for sale on Autotrader.

The stylish 4x4, rumoured to be wife Coleen’s run-around, has racked up 74,000 miles since the pair bought it in 2014.

It has a 3.0l engine and comes with red and black interiors, as well as a Freeview TV.

Rooney is one of many football stars flogging their unwanted motors on Autotrader, with former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany also putting his limited edition Ford Mustang Shelby GT-California on the market.

Kompany’s motor only has 3,000 miles on the clock and has been fitted with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package.

You can get your hands on the City legend’s car for slightly less than Rooney’s at £49,499.

Leicester defender Christian Fuchs has placed his Land Rover Defender on sale for £49,950, while Everton centre-back Michael Keane is demanding £49,990 for his Ranger Rover.

Ex-Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is even flogging his Porsche 911 for £37,500.

However, the pick of the bunch comes from former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.

The 32-year-old has put his luxurious Rolls-Royce Wraith up for sale on Autotrader - which is worth a whopping £119,950.

Auto Trader’s Rory Reid said: “Auto Trader continues to be the go-to-destination for footballers looking for a change of wheels, particularly in the lead up to the Premier League restarting.

“This year highlights the continued popularity for SUVs amongst Premier League stars, with the likes of Range Rovers continuing to take the top spots.”
