MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed personal terms with top target Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side allegedly plan to sign the 20-year-old on a five-year deal worth £140,000-per-week.

According to The Transfer Window Podcast, United have reached an agreement over Sancho's wages.

Journalist Ian McGarry said: "Sancho has agreed in principle in the last few weeks a five year contract with Manchester United which will pay him initially around £140,000-per-week.

"But increasing to around £200,000-per-week over the course of that deal.

"The player's agent Emeka Obasi has recently been busy doing other deals notably [Bukayo] Saka's new deal at Arsenal.

"But he is still hopeful that United will be able to agree a fee with Borussia Dortmund. "

The Reds have stepped up their pursuit of the winger after Dortmund urged him to make a decision over his future.

Solskjaer's side are said to have agreed personal terms, but still have to negotiate a transfer fee.

Dortmund have valued their star man at a whopping £115million.

But United are reportedly not willing to pay over £50million for the England ace.

Solskjaer even laughed off claims his Manchester United side will wrap up a deal for Sancho this summer.

But the Red Devils have got the ball rolling as they look to bolster their attacking options this summer.

Sancho has emerged as their top target after scoring 19 times and making 18 assists this season.

The youngster has made his name since moving to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017.

He had been linked with a move back to the Etihad - but Pep Guardiola has confirmed this will not happen.

The Transfer Window podcast however added that United are playing hardball with Dortmund over a transfer fee.

United have said they will not go above £50million for Sancho, way below the German club's asking price.

Journalist Duncan Castles added: "When you have Man United briefing that they are not prepared to pay anything like the fee that Dortmund have made clear they want for that player, that would suggest actually it's going to get thrown out rather than resolved.

"It's definitely the priority position for Manchester United. Jadon Sancho is their preferred target for that role.

"But they are discussing other individuals. Jack Grealish is a possibility to come in.

"There is an interest in Adama Traore but I do not see them going to the levels Wolves are asking, for that player. It's a similar level to what Dortmund are asking."
