Goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler goes straight into Fleetwood squad

Canada goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler will go straight into Fleetwood’s squad for the League One clash with Burton.
The 31-year-old left Blackburn earlier this summer and has been drafted in by boss Joey Barton after Joel Coleman’s nasty hamstring injury.
Alex Cairns is likely to start Saturday’s league opener, with Coleman expected to be sidelined for between three to five months.
Barton has backed Leutwiler to make an impression with Fleetwood, with the club having moved quickly to secure cover for Coleman.
Charles Vernam will miss out for Burton having picked up a knee injury in the Carabao Cup victory over Accrington.
The midfield summer signing will miss Saturday’s trip to Fleetwood but has avoided serious injury.
Reece Hutchinson will miss out as he continues to shake off a foot injury, while Ryan Edwards is almost fit but will not be ready for the weekend.
Lucas Akins is available having been rested for the midweek cup clash with Peterborough.
