Paris Saint-Germain moved to the top of France's Ligue 1 after a 4-1 win over AC Ajaccio at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.

Goals from Javier Pastore and Jeremy Menez helped PSG to a 2-1 lead at the break, with Ajaccio scoring through Yoann Poulard.

Carlo Ancelotti's side went on to grab two late goals - Guillaume Hoarau and Nene the scorers - to ensure they move a point clear of Montpellier.

Paris Saint-Germain went into their game with AC Ajaccio knowing a win would put them top of French Ligue 1.

The woodwork was doing its best to keep both sides out before PSG broke the deadlock in the 27th minute. Javier Pastore played a one-two with Blaise Matuidi and the Argentine kept his composure to finish a great move.

Pastore, a big-money signing from Italian club Palermo in the summer, showing his talent.

Two minutes later PSG made it two. Nene broke down the right wing, found Pastore who threaded the ball to Jeremy Menez who stepped inside and curled the ball into the corner of the net.

Pastore involved again before a quality finish from the French international.

AC Ajaccio got themselves back into the match shortly before the break. A free kick was met by Fousseni Diawara, whose shot was saved by Salvatore Sirigu, but the rebound was lashed in by Yoann Poulard.

It wasn't until late on when PSG regained their two goal lead. This time scored by Guillaume Hoarau in the 86th minute.

The home side added a fourth in injury time. Substitute Clement Chantome crossed for Nene who scored his 13th league goal of the season to give PSG a 4-1 win and put them top of Ligue 1.
