Intro:Yokohama F Marinos beat FC Tokyo 1-0 on Saturday (16th June) in the Japanese J.League, courtesy of a first-half winner from Shingo Hyodo.Script:Yokohama F Marinos hosted FC Tokyo knowing a win would seem them move to within a point of the visitors.And they duly took the lead in the 31st minute when Shingo Hyodo turned sharply inside the penalty area, before slotting past Tokyo keeper Shuichi Gonda.And just four minutes later, Hyodo had a chance to grab his second but this time Gonda came out on top with the ball trickling off for a corner.After the interval, the stopper again prevented the hosts from doubling their lead, this time tipping ex Celtic man Shinsuke Nakamura's effort away from goal.The away side rarely threatened although Hiroki Ilkura had to be sharp to deny Hiroki Kawano getting in late in the game.Yokohama held on to stay within nine points of leaders Vegalta Sendai.
