Sixth Round of Speedway World Championships hits Gorzow

    Martin Vaculik finished the overall winner on Saturday following the sixth round of the Speedway World Championships, the Grand Prix of Poland in Gorzow

    World Championship leader Greg Hancock arrived in Poland just two points ahead of his nearest rival Jason Crump.

    The two were paired together in heat three alongside Australian champion Chris Holder, who arrived in Poland in fourth place, with Russian Emil Sayfutdinov completing the quartet for the early standout race.

    Crump edged out Holder for first place, with Hancock having to settle for third place ahead of Sayfutdinov.

    Home favourite Tomasz Gollob then compiled more misery for Crump as he edged out the Australian in heat 19 with Andreas Jonsson and Chris Harris finishing in third and fourth respectively.
