The Moto X Best Trick competition was the highlight of the event.

Australia's Cameron Sinclair wowed the crowd with a double backflip, which was good enough for bronze.

Taka Higashino of Japan broke out a new variation of the Rock Solid backflip he unveiled on Thursday.

This version had a one-handed landing and it earned him a score of 90.33 for the silver medal.

Jackson Strong won Best Trick gold in 2011 with a first-ever X Games front flip and needed a big score to defend his title.

    He would get one.

The Aussie executed a perfect "Jack" for the best jump of the competition and he was understandably ecstatic to claim his second X Games Moto X Best Trick gold medal.
