A steady round of 7-under for Henrik Stenson saw him win at the Schuco Open in Hamburg, Germany on Sunday (July 29).
The organisers were not so lucky with the conditions with intermittent rain for most of the day.
But China's Liang Wen-Chong did have a lucky break on the 7th with his hole-in-one but it didn't last and he finished 2-over, tied for twenty-third, with a round of 75.
Spain's Alvaro Quiros threatened throughout. He gave himself an ambitious eagle chance on the 8th which he missed but birdied anyway to put the leaders under pressure.
Stenson was playing with Spain's Pablo Larrazabal and Chile's Felipe Aguilar - and his approach shot on the 15th and subsequent birdie was impressive.
The Swede shot a tidy round of 66.
Stenson had a nervy wait as he signed autographs by the clubhouse when Quiros saved par on the 17th before setting himself up with a birdie chance on the 18th to force a play-off.
But the Spaniard missed to gift victory to Stenson.
The stroke-play tournament took place over just one day and isn't part of the European Tour.
