Quilmes played host to Boca Juniors in their opening fixture of the Inicial domestic season on Saturday night.

It took the home side just 12 minutes to open the scoring Martin Cauteruccio powering through before thumping home a fine finish which sent the home fans into delirium.

Santiago Silva saw red just minutes later after kicking out in retalliation to a rather clumsy challenge on him.

Quilmes held their narrow 1-0 lead against the depleted Boca into the second half.

Pablo Garnier doubled the lead though on the hour mark, tapping in unmarked at the far post with the outnumbered Boca defence at sixes and sevens.

Cauteruccio completed the rout in the dying seconds infront of the shocked travelling Boca fans, and that was how it stayed on a quite perfect opening day for the Brewers.
