    Kazakh weightlifter Ilia Ilin celebrated his gold medal in the men's 94kg category.

    Ilia Ilin created history for Kazakhstan at the London 2012 Games on Saturday - becoming the first athlete in his country's history to win two gold medals by retaining the title he won in Beijing four years ago.

    Ilin dominated the competition and managed to set two new world records - lifting 233kg in the clean and jerk and setting a new overall total of 418kg.

    Afterwards Ilin expressed his joy and gratitude for the support from his fans in Kazakhstan.
