    The IOC (International Olympic Committee) expelled Taiwanese candidate Chu Mu-yen from Athlete's Commission election in London on Saturday.

    SOUNDBITE; (Mandarin) Chu Mu-Yen, Taiwan Taekwondo Athlete:

    "On July 26, we received the warning letter from IOC which pointed out that I had distributed lollipop to the other athletes. At noon of August 10th, I explained to IOC that I have never given any lollipop to anyone. At the same time, I honestly told them I did use my iPad to explain to other athletes the IOC procedures of this voting, but I stopped doing it after I received the warning letter on July 26th."

    SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) Chen Kuo-I, Taiwan Olympic Committee Secretary General:

    "As IOC announced today that Mu-Yen Chu has done something violating the regulations of IOC on the voting, we have asked IOC to give us an explanation and show us the evidence about Chu's violation. "
