The highlight of the day at the All-England Open Badminton Championships was probably this epic point.

Denmark's Tine Baun was on court for an hour and 16 minutes against South Korea's Ji Hyun Sung to win 24-22, 19-21, 21-19.

Baun, playing in her last-ever tournament, is through to the final at All-England for the fourth time.

There was also a shock for the number two seed Saina Nehwal of India.

Thailand's Intanon Ratchanok, who is just 18-years-old, squealed with joy as she won 21-15, 21-19.

In the doubles, the two Chinese pairs came out on top.

Indonesia's Mohammad Ashan seemed to struggle when he and Hendra Setiawan were in control in the third game against Xialong Liu and Zihan Qiu.

But Liu and Qiu showed tenacity and skill to win 21-12, 13-21, 21-17.

After being kicked out of the Olympics, Xiaoli Wang and Yang Yu are through to the women's doubles final.

The 2011 world champions, and number one seeds, beat Japan's Miyuki Maeda and Satoko Suetsuna comfortably 21-11, 21-16.
