World number one Lee Chong Wei was looking to secure a fifth career Indonesian Open title when he faced Germany's Marc Zwiebler in Sunday's men's final.

No German male had ever won a Super Series final, but Zwiebler kept things tight early in the match - before Lee turned things around with a smash for a 7-5 lead in the first game.

The top-seeded Malaysian went on to take the first game 21-15 with another smash.

Lee proved too powerful for Zwiebler and swept to the title in straight games - 21-15, 21-14 - to seal Indonesian Open title number five.

Juliane Schenk was Germany's other hope for a title as she faced Chinese top seed Li Xuerui in the women's singles final.

The fourth-seeded Schenk returned everything Li could offer in a long first game rally, before the Olympic champion snatched away the point for a 17-14 lead.

Li won the first game then Schenk claimed game two to level.

But Li's class showed in the third game as she edged ahead, before finishing off Schenk to clinch the women's singles title with a 21-16, 18-21, 21-17 win.

The BWF Super Series now moves on to Singapore for this week's Singapore Open.
