Unilver Volei beat Volero Zurich to reach the final of the 2013 FIVB Women's Club World Championship

    Brazilian side Unilver Volei beat Switzerland's Volero Zurich in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-16) to reach the final of the 2013 FIVB Women's Club World Championship on Saturday (12th October).

    Hosts Volero Zurich were knocked out at the semi-final stage of the 2013 FIVB Women's Club World Championship on Saturday by South American champions Unilver Volei of Brazil.

    Volero Zurich made the better start to the match and led 16-11 at one stage, but allowed the opponents back into the first set and the Brazilians won 25-23.

    Middle blocker Cristina Juciely was prominent for the Brazilians, she scored 13 points in the match.

    Unilver Volei led 19-12 at one point in the second set and went on to clinch it 25-20.

    The hosts failed to mount a comeback and Unilver Volei won the third set with relative ease, 25-16.

    Unilver Volei will now face European champions Vakifbank Istanbul in Sunday's gold medal match after the Turks were straight sets winners over China's Guangdong Evergrande in Saturday's other semi-final.
