"It's a good feeling. I think what we've been through this year, I think it was something that was an accomplishment. Just get everyone's mind clear and let everyone know that it wasn't just us players who won the championship it was everyone in this city that won it. That's why we want to bring this trophy down to the finish line."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Shane Victorino
"The magnitude with what happened earlier in the season with the tragedy of the Boston Marathon. I think that's just - you know you pulled one city even closer together. Again, I've played against the Boston Red Sox multiple times in interleague and had the luxury of knowing what it's like to play in Fenway Park as an opposing player and understood what Red Sox Nation was all about. But to be on the home field, to be on what I call the Cathedral of Baseball, was special. It was a dream come true for me. And to win a championship, how can I sit here and not smile about that?"
