SOUNDBITE: (English) Carlos Beltran, New York Yankees:

"For me it's a great honour to be able to come back to this city. A long time ago I first came and I learned about the city and I learned about everything. Having the opportunity to come back again as a Yankee really means a lot to me. I grew up being a Yankee fan. I grew up being a Bernie Williams fan. At one point, I almost got the opportunity to sign with the Yankees, but it didn't work out. but at the end of the day what is in the past is in the past. I'm just looking forward to joining this ball club. I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead. Looking for ward to gout and perform. Not only on the field, but also off the field, being able to get involved in the community. I believe in giving back. I believe in giving my time to the community. I'm just happy to be back in New York again."
