Simon Ammann of Switzerland reflected on winning the opening Four Hills ski jumping competition in Oberstdorf, Germany on Sunday. The 32-year-old adds this title to a collection that includes four Olympic gold medals as well as victory at the 2007 World Ski Championships.

"Yeah, I was never so relaxed as here and I thought that I had nothing to lose. I was quite well prepared for this first competition but there are three to go and regeneration (of fitness) is not my easiest part around these ten days. But maybe I get the wave and I will surf it."
