South Korean success in All England Badminton quarters

    There were wins for South Korean duo Sung Hyun Ko and Ha Na Kim in the mixed doubles and South Korean Wan Ho Son in the men's singles at the All England Badminton Championships in Birmingham.

    Script:

    The quarter finals of the All England Badminton championships and there was a thrilling match between eighth seeds Sung Hyun Ko and Ha Na Kim and Danish pair Mads Pieler Kolding and Kamilla Rytter Juhl.

    The South Koreans took the first game, but Kolding and Juhl made it 1-1 after winning this epic rally in the second.

    But the third game proved a one sided affair, in the South Korean's favour as they went through to the semi finals in just less than an hour.

    There was more South Korean success in the singles as Wan Ho Son eliminated fifth seed Kenichi Tago of Japan.

    He took the first game 21-15 after dominating with his variety of shots.

    It was much the same in the second and he secured the game, and the match by pouncing on a lose drop shot from his opponent.

    It finished 21-17 and Wan Ho Son has a place in the semis.
