The International Court of Appeal has started to hear Red Bull's case against the disqualification of Daniel Ricciardo from the Australian Grand Prix.
The case is being heard at the FIA headquarters in Paris.
Ricciardo finished second but was disqualified and had his 18 points revoked after his car exceeded Formula 1's new fuel-flow rules.
The regulations restrict usage to no more than 100 kilograms per hour at any time.
FIA Officials present at the Melbourne grand prix ruled that Rcciardo's Red Bull "consistently" exceeded the fuel flow limit.
Red Bull has appealed against the decision claiming that the flow sensors fitted to the car were faulty.
Furthermore, the team believe that the limit is a directive rather than a rule and therefore not enforceable.
Team principal Christian Horner has stated that his team has a "very strong case" against the disaqualification.
