American Angela Stanford tops the Lotte Championship leaderboard after a second round of 64 on Thursday takes her to eight-under.

Hawaii was the setting for the Lotte Championship and Angela Stanford said aloha to first place after the second round on Thursday.

The American made this birdy putt on the 13th hole on the way to carding a round of 64, which took her to eight-under.

Fellow home favourite Michelle Wie missed this birdie but the 24-yeard-old's round of 67 was good enough to leave her second on seven-under.

Tied for third is Cristie Kerr, who bagged this brilliant birdie on the 17th hole. A round of 66 leaves the 16-time LPGA Tour champion two shots off the lead.

Also in third place is world number one Inbee Park, who hit this amazing approach shot on the 7th hole before finishing with a round of 68.

Hyo Joo Kim also occupies third spot, along with fellow South Korean So Yeun Ryu, who pulled off a fantastic approach of her own on the 14th. Kim and Ryu carded rounds of 70 to join Kerr on six-under.
