2009 Players Champion Henrik Stenson has said that the tournament has the strongest field of the year.

He is currently ranked third in the world after winning both the FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour and the European Tour's Race to Dubai in 2013, and is expected to perform well at TPC Sawgrass.
