Top seed John Isner powered his way into the final of the Atlanta Open for the fourth time in five years with a straight-sets victory over Jack Sock on Saturday.

The defending champion dominated on serve to beat his compatriot 7-5 6-4 in an hour and 38 minutes.

Big-serving Isner won 94 per cent of first service points and the world No 12 has Israeli Dudi Sela standing in the way of his ninth career title.

Sela sealed his spot in Sunday's showpiece by winning in three sets against German Benjamin Becker.

The world number 94 struck three aces and won 54 per cent of his second-serve points as he took one hour and 50 minutes to secure his 6-3 3-6 6-3 success.

33-year-old Becker responded to being a set down by levelling the second.

The Tel Aviv resident broke Becker three times and saved five out of seven break points as he prevailed in the third set to take the match.
