    Li Xuerui of China qualifies for the Badminton World Championships women's singles final whilst in the women's doubles, Chinese duo Zhao Yunlei and Tian Qing set-up a final against compatriots Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang.

    Script:

    Olympic champion and world number one Li Xuerui crushed Minatsu Mitani of Japan 21-8, 21-14 in the Badminton World Championships semi-finals on Saturday.

    The 23-year-old only needed 32 minutes to brush aside her opponent.

    There was more joy for China in the women's doubles last four when Zhao Yunlei and Tian Qing overcame Lee So Hee and Shin Seung Chan.

    The fifth seeds ousted the 16th seeds 21-13, 21-10.

    The final will be an all-Chinese affair -- lining up against Zhao and Tian will be Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang.

    The fourth seeds comfortably disposed of Reika Kakiiwa and Miyuki Maeda of Japan, 21-8, 21-13.

    In the men's doubles, twelfth seeds Ko Sung Hyun and Shin Baek Choel of South Korea received a walkover when their compatriot Kim Sa Rang had to withdraw through injury.
