    SOUNDBITE: (English), Paul Lambert:

"We can't start games the way we did - especially at Everton. The first eight league games we've played the top five from last year. When you look at that, we are three points better off than last year and we've played the top five already in an eight game spell. Every game in this league is really tough and we are going to have to earn the right at Loftus Road on Monday."

"You've got to earn the right - I think at this time of the season that's naive. You don't have a divine right to win a game. You've got to earn it. If you don't do that, you end up getting beat - especially in this league, it is really, really tough. They played well against Liverpool and certainly shouldn't have lost the game, at the very least got a point from it but that just shows you it can be really unforgiving the league."

"They've got seasoned pros there, good pros there. So it is going to be a hard game because it is the way it is - tight ground and the crowd right on top of you. Good atmosphere there. But from our side looking at it this week, we are definitely up from the other week, that's for sure."
