Spain's Rafa Cabrera-Bello hit a seven-under-par third-round 65 in Dubai on Saturday (22 November) to sit level with Henrik Stenson at the top of the DP World Tour Championship leaderboard, three strokes ahead of Justin Rose.

    Script:

The third round of the season-ending DP World Tour Championship saw Rory Mcllroy make his charge at the start of the weekend.

The World No 1 rolled in for birdie at the sixth and by the 10th had tied with overnight leader Henrik Stenson.

Yet the Northern Irishman, then dropped four shots in the space of two holes.

First, a double bogey at the 12th & then another double on the following par three 13th - Mcllroy sits at four shots off the lead.

Justin Rose started the day three off the lead at -11 under, and the Englishman remains there after a -4 under 68.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello played beautifully for his -7 under round to tie for the lead at -14 under.

The Spaniard won the Desert Classic back in 2012.

Alongside him at the top of the leaderboard was the overnight leader.

Henrik Stenson followed up Friday's -6 under round with a -4 under on Saturday & will be in confident mood of claiming his first defence of a title.
