    SOUNDBITE: (English) Michael Phelps:

"The last three months of my life have been some of the hardest times I've ever gone through and you know, some of the biggest learning experiences that I've ever had and finding out a lot about myself and, you know, for this day, I'm happy to be moving forward and you know, I'll continue to grow from this and continue on my path of recovery. The next couple of years are going to be very challenging and I'm very pleased and happy that I have the great support that I have around me."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Allen, Lawyer for Michael Phelps:

"Mr Phelps has acknowledged his mistake, has accepted responsibility for what occurred and is working very hard, as he told you, to address the issues. We see this additionally as a teaching moment and as the judge indicated, and as we truly believe, this will give Mr. Phelps an opportunity to share with others, generally people younger than him, who admire and look up to him, what happened and hopefully it will have an influence to prevent someone else from making the same type of mistake that he made. He's working very hard at addressing his issues and I am fully confident that this is the last time something like this will occur in Mr Phelps' life."
