Intro:
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce speaks to the media, on the eve of his side's English Premier League London derby against Chelsea
Script:
SOUNDBITE: (English) Sam Allardyce (looking ahead to the Chelsea game):
We obviously look forward to Chelsea now and Chelsea is going to be the third local derby that we are encountering out of four and we have to get back to Tottenham performances. Hopefully that will help us - or try and help us to get a result against the best team in the Premier League at the moment. So, like I say, we could play our very best tomorrow night and lose the game because Chelsea are that good but we're going to give it our best shot."
SOUNDBITE (English) Sam Allardyce (on defender Winston Reid's future at West Ham):
I have no idea whatsoever. Winston has an exceptionally good offer on the table and won't make a decision to reject and say "No, I am not staying" or he won't give us a decision to say "Yes, I'll take it and I will stay". So we cannot get a decision out of him - unless we torture him! We do cocktail sticks under the nails or ring up Jack Bauer and I'm sure he'd get the answer out of him!"
SOUNDBITE (English) Sam Allardyce (on speculation about his future as West Ham manager):
No, media have to have something to write about so they can write about me. All publicity is good publicity. So, write as much as you want. You can't explain the situation any more than we have already explained it and I'm not going to explain it again!"
