"I think it was just a bit of everything really. It's obviously been a tough winter for myself and for the team but scoring a hundred in a Test match is a great feeling. I said to myself that when it's going well you must make the most of it and really enjoy it going well and it's just one of those emotion things and obviously it's a great feeling getting a hundred. It's a special, special moment really."

"We've obviously got a lot of runs on the board which was the plan today and we've still got a lot of overs to ball at them. I think our declaration came at the perfect time so we give ourselves the best chance tomorrow. If they come out going for it, it will give us more opportunity to take wickets and if we can get a few in the first session, in the second session we've got the second new ball I think. If we can get them four down with that second new ball then hopefully we can push on from there and get a win at the end of the day."
