Undrafted, ridden by Frankie Dettori, won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes for American trainer Wesley Ward in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, the feature race on the final day of Royal Ascot on Saturday (20th June).

    Script:

The fifth and final day of Royal Ascot saw her majesty The Queen once again in attendance alongside Prince Philip.

As ever the royal procession got proceedings underway at 2-o'clock.

And the main action of the day saw 44-year-old Frankie Dettori go in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

Dettori showed once again he's still one of the top competitors in the sport as he rode Undrafted to victory in the feature race on day five.

It was a first Group One win in England for American trainer Wesley Ward.

The 14-1 shot, who was fourth in the July Cup at Newmarket last year, finished half a length ahead of 7-2 joint favourite Brazen Beau.

Astaire, a 25-1 shot, claimed third ahead of Music Master, which went out at 14-1.
