SOUNDBITE (English) Petr Cech, Arsenal goalkeeper:
"Well, it's exciting. I have to say that when I first came to the Premier League it's been a long time ago and I still love playing in the Premier League and I love the challenges which the Premier League poses with the great players and the great teams that you have to face every week and Arsenal is a team who challenges for a team and definitely matches my ambitions and personal motivations and I believe at this time of my career, I made a good choice and I will have the success that I would love to have."
SOUNDBITE (English) Petr Cech, Arsenal goalkeeper:
"I spoke to the manager Arsene Wenger and obviously that was the big difference because as I said, I'm as hungry as ever and I have the same commitment and motivation to win trophies as I had 10 years ago, 15 years ago or as a kid. Having spoken to him (Wenger), I believe I will find it here. I will find a team which wants to be successful and wants to challenge the best teams in Europe and I think this is an exciting project for me."
SOUNDBITE (English) Petr Cech, Arsenal goalkeeper:
(on leaving Chelsea)
"Well, it was probably the hardest decision for me to go but as I said, I believe that last year I realised that I am not in the phase of my career where I would sit on the bench. I want to be playing and I want to compete for my position in the team and I want to be useful for the team and do the usual stuff on the pitch week in, week out. And I hope that I will have the possibility to compete for my place here at Arsenal and I hope I can bring something little extra to the team which could help."
