  • World Rally Championship reigning champion Sebastien Ogier retains lead on day three of the Rally of Germany on Saturday (22nd August) in Trier.

    While strong times from Thierry Neuville enabled the Belgian to ease ahead of Hyundai i20 team-mate Dani Sordo by 1.8 seconds in the fight for fourth.
    Spaniard Sordo had a gearchange issue in Bosenberg that made it hard to shift down in hairpin bends.

    Meanwhile, Elfyn Evans was second to maintain sixth place ahead of Ford Fiesta RS team-mate Ott Tänak, who was hampered when an onboard camera came loose.

    The Welshman's time in the second stage of the day was just 0.7 seconds slower than leader Ogier - meaning he was in a confident mood at the end of the day's racing.
