"The first match that I played was against Swansea - we lost and now I have to play the 50 match. I hope we can show our fans that we have improved because that's the main thing. Last year we only lost all the points against Swansea and I always want improvement of my team and my players so I hope we can show that."

SOUNDBITE (English) Louis van Gaal, Manchester United manager:

"I think Swansea City has a very good time last year and this year. They proved it. They drew at Chelsea and they beat Newcastle United. So when I see the individual players, they have quality so it shall be very difficult to beat them but we are better prepared than last year around this time."

SOUNDBITE (English) Louis van Gaal, Manchester United manager (on the Champions League draw):

"It could be worse and it could be better also. Always with a draw we have to analyze again other teams and we have to analyze the teams of the moment. We can look at the past (of the teams) but the present is more important."
