  • American Cameron Naasz made it two wins from as many rounds of the current Red Bull Crashed Ice series, finishing first in Munich, Germany while Canada's Jacqueline Legere led the way in the women's final.

Munich in Germany staged the second of four events that make up the 2015/16 Red Bull Crashed Ice series.

Canada's Jacquelin Legere came out on top in an exciting finish to the women's final.

Legere in the pink conceded the lead to compatriot Myriam Trepanier in the closing stages of the race, but both fell on the final jump.

With victory in the balance, it was Legere who got back on her skates the quickest and slid over the finishing line ahead of Trepanier to win.

Sydney O'Keefe completing the podium places finishing third.

    Legere delighted:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Jacquelin Legere, Winner of women's final:

"I absolutely love the track. It was really cool and then coming down kind of blind down the big steep hill and seeing everyone (the spectators) is really awesome."

In the men's race Cameron Naasz powered into the lead heading into the first corner and used his impressive speed and balance to hold on to first place the rest of the way to claim victory.

Scott Croxall of Canada took second place with his brother, Kyle, pipping France's Tristan Dugerdil to third.

Naasz happy to get the win.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Cameron Naasz, Winner of men's final:

"Feels really good. It's always nerve-racking being, maybe in a tight race at the end of the season so, hopefully these two wins in a row here to start out the season will, kind of give me a little bit of a cushion going into the rest of the year."

After winning in Quebec and now here in Munich Naasz holds a 600-point lead over Croxall, heading into the third round of the season in, Finland at the end of the month.
