Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spoke on Friday (12 February) ahead of his team's Premier League match against bottom club Aston Villa.

"It is not our thing to think about, what Aston Villa's target is for this game, we have to be strong, we have our own targets and we have to do everything to reach them and that's what our job is. (The) Premier League is always difficult, so you can ignore this fact, it's difficult, you don't have to think about it. Don't forget it's difficult for Aston Villa to win against us and that's the first thing we have to show. If we can show this, we can win."

"I can do a lot of things, but at the end it's like it always is, not just with Christian (Benteke), the most important help is from the player himself. I saw really good signs against West Ham, in not the easiest period of his career. He really fought and having this number of opportunities is a good sign. If he had no opportunities that would be a much bigger problem, but of course it's not that easy. Everything we do is in the middle of public interest so you cannot hide yourself, that's how it is."
