"It's going to be quite a tough great. Geoffrey (Kipsang) is a great athlete. You have got other Kenyans too. It's not going to be easy tomorrow but hopefully I can go out tomorrow and have the home crowd behind me. It's going to make a big difference. It's very exciting to have the World Half Marathon at home. You can't get any better than that. It could get better if we had another Olympics in London but that ain't going to happen."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Geoffrey Kipsang, defending champion
"First and foremost, I am very delighted to get the chance, once again, to compete in the World Half Marathon Championships. As defending champion, I am looking forward to a good race tomorrow. I think it will be an exciting race with the strong line up of athletes like Mo and others from my Kenyan team. I hope to have a good race tomorrow."

"I love my sport and I love what I do. We have got to show it in a good way. We are doing what we can. But obviously in all sports you are just going to get a small minority of people doing the wrong things which is not nice. But at the same time as long as we can do what we do best. I ant show people what I can do. And that's all I can do. But we are making a lot more effort to make the most of it."
