  • Anthony Joshua's next opponent Dominic Breazeale warned "to look past me that's a big mistake".

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Dominic Breazeale

(Q: How would you rate your chances against Anthony Joshua?)

"The best, the best. I wouldn't have taken the fight if I didn't think I can win it. I am not a guy that is going to come here and lay down. I am not a guy who is going to come here and get hit with some shots and be like 'oh I don't think this is for me, there's twenty thousand fans here, I can't do this'. I have got way too much confidence for that and I have worked way too hard to just lay down and not succeed."

Q: You look at your respective records, plenty of knockouts, so it's probably not going to last the distance then?

"Yeah it's definitely not lasting the distance for sure and I am not planning to come back over to the UK on June 25th...I am going to hear the opening bell but I am not going to be hearing the ending bell that's for sure. It's going to be me hitting Anthony Joshua, Anthony Joshua on the canvas. If I have got to put him down once, if I have got to put him down twice, so be it, but either way I am knocking Anthony Joshua out."

(Q: Eddie Hearn is discussing a fight with Tyson Fury, do you find that disrespectful considering you're the next opponent?)

"No, not at all. Disrespectful maybe, maybe not. At the same time Eddie Hearn is a business guy and he's got to look after his fighter and plan ahead. At the same time he's got to have confidence that Anthony Joshua is going to come and try and beat me. I would like my people to do the same thing, Al Haymon has done a great job of putting me in line for a title shot like so and bringing me up in the rankings and I am sure he has got a game plan for me to go as well. But to look past me that's a big mistake."

Q: What is your prediction for this fight, where is it going to finish?

"It is going to finish in the sixth, if not maybe the seventh, but it is going to end with me knocking Anthony Joshua out."
