Real Madrid players trained and spoke to the media on Tuesday (24th May) as the club prepared for Saturday's (28th May) Champions League Final against Atletico Madrid at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

SOUNDBITE (English) Gareth Bale, Real Madrid player:
"We know we can do it and now we just have to go and prove it again that we can. Confidence is high but we know it's going to be a very difficult game. We know that Atletico are a very difficult team. We're confident but we'll go into the game with a spirits hoping to win."

"We know they've got a good defensive record and they play very well in the defence but we have to be patient, we have to pick our moments and when we do create the chances we need to take them."

"He's come in and he has given us that freedom to enjoy ourselves on the pitch. I think as a player he obviously liked to play that way and he has installed that confidence into the team that we can go out and express ourselves and I think that's brought the best out of us."

"When he came in January everybody could see that the team improved. We trained and played with a little bit more fun than before and at this point it was important because we didn't have a very good first half of the season and I think we improved a lot.
