  • Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow won bronze for Team GB in the 10-metre synchronised diving final on Monday (8th August).

Tom Daley won his second Olympic bronze medal by finishing third alongside Dan Goodfellow in the synchronised 10m platform.

The pair endured a nervous wait before their final score of 444.45 was confirmed - enough to win bronze and kick-start dramatic celebrations which saw the two jump into the pool in delight.

Daley and Goodfellow finished behind China and the United States.

SOT: "It felt like an eternity waiting for those scoreboards. To be there and be in Rio at the Olympic Games...and Dan and I have worked so hard to get to this point. To see the scores come up and we got a bronze medal, I'm just over the moon."

22-year-old Daley will now set his sights on another medal opportunity - participating on his own in the 10-metre platform.
