Watford head coach Walter Mazzarri said on Thursday (25th August) that he wants to build on the positive aspects of last week's narrow defeat against Chelsea - and may resist throwing all of his latest signings into the first team when the 'Hornets' take on Arsenal in the English Premier League at Vicarage Road on Saturday (27th August).

"I like him very much. He is a very important player. He just needs to understand the way he needs to play in his position."

"I need to evaluate (the players). They have just arrived and I need to be sure they know what they need to do for the team. They will be there. I'm not sure yet if they will start or go into later."

"I want to start from the good things we did against Chelsea. That means it's nearly impossible for all three to start, I need to take into consideration the eleven people who played against Chelsea and we'll see."
