Koeman rules out Hart move

Sunday, August 28 2016 by SNTV
  • Reaction from Ronaldo Koeman after Everton beat Stoke City 1-0 with a penalty kick in the EPL on Saturday (27th August).

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ronald Koeman, Everton Manager (On reported interest in Manchester City's Joe Hart)

"I think we are still looking for a goalkeeper because what we want is three good goalkeepers, if we have injuries with the 'keepers the manager is not so afraid by the other two 'keepers so therefore we need a third one. But Joe Hart is not a second or third choice goalkeeper, he is number one, and that is not what we need."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ronald Koeman, Everton Manager (On being fourth in the table)

"It's for everybody, for the fans it's important to believe in the spirit and we had great support today. We would like to fight for a high position in the table and the start of the season is good, but if we want to keep that position in the table we need to improve, to play better. The defensive organisation in the team is good, its ok, 3 games and 2 goals and that is really good. This is the way to build."
