"We were speaking to him, those who have a closer relationship with him, not only as teammates but also as a friend. I told him his situation is totally understandable. He has options on table. I don't believe it's a matter of money. I mean if it's a matter of sporting ambition, I don't think it's about that because Barcelona will be the best place for that. And I mean he's still a boy, he's only 24, 25 years old. But if he doesn't win the Champions League then he's not going to get the recognition that he deserves."
