    "A player who is absolutely outstanding, such as Ronaldo who Juventus have signed, will lead to all the other players in that Juventus team playing a little bit better than before.  This is because they will all want to show that they can up their game and play on the level of Ronaldo.  It means that such players lead to every player in the team giving a few percentage points more, to show that they can play at the highest level.  Personally I think that it would only have benefits if the club made one or two big signings."
