Breaking News - Axed Manchester City star Leroy Sane trains with Germany squad

  • Leroy Sane trained with his Germany team-mates on Monday and looked fresh after being left out of the Manchester City squad for their weekend win over Newcastle.  As revealed by Sportsmail, City boss Pep Guardiola axed Sane from his side to face the Magpies after being left unimpressed with the winger's displays in training.  But Sane will hope to feature later this week when Germany take on France and Peru.  Thursday's Nations League opener against France will be Germany's first game since they were knocked out of the World Cup in Russia in June.  The 2014 world champions lost two of their three group games in Russia, but did not have Sane to call on after Low omitted him from his 23-man party.  Now back in the international fold, he is expected to add to his haul of 12 caps.  He partnered with Jonathan Tah in training on Monday and the duo were seen stretching together during their warm-up.
