Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard put their club rivalry behind their backs, as the pair trained with Norway ahead of an away Euro 2024 qualifier against Cyprus on Thursday.

Odegaard's Arsenal defeated Haaland's Manchester City 1-0 in the English Premier League on the weekend.

Sitting third in Group A with seven points after five games, Norway can't afford to drop any points against the hosts who are yet to earn any points. They will be keeping a close eye on the simultaneous match between group leaders - with 15 points - Scotland and Spain - who have nine points having played a game less.

Scotland will be the first nation to qualify if they avoid defeat in Sevilla, or if Norway fail to get out from Larnaca with the three points.

Norway will then host Spain next Sunday (15th October).
