Manchester United have made Jadon Sancho their top transfer target.

Manchester United are ready to end their transfer pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils are ready for a busy summer transfer window after securing a top four finish and Champions League football for next season.

United's transfer kitty will be boosted by being in the Champions League.

The Red Devils are hoping to put the funds towards signing Sancho, 20, now the transfer window is open.

United and Dortmund have been at war over the German club's asking price for the former Manchester City ace.

Dortmund are demanding around £110m for the winger, while United are only willing to pay £80m.

And The Star say United are willing to end their interest in Sancho - and try to agree a deal next summer.

United chief Ed Woodward is refusing to be held to ransom over Sancho.

It's understood United made a bid of £80m for Sancho, however, Dortmund rejected the proposal.

As a result, talks between both parties have broken down.

The Red Devils will not pay a penny more than £80m for the forward, who netted 20 goals in all competitions last season for Dortmund.

United are willing to end their pursuit of Sancho in hope of signing the England international next summer.

Woodward and co. will now turn their attention to other transfer targets.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about Sancho joining during his press conference on Tuesday.

However, the Norwegian gave a coy response to the transfer rumours.

"This transfer window is a long one," Solskjaer said.

"Every transfer takes its course.

"It is what it is, so if there is any news we will update you."

Solskjaer was speaking at his press conference to preview the Europa League clash against LASK on Wednesday evening.
