Stirling secured the Scottish Division Two title on goal difference from Alloa after they drew 1-1 with Brechin at Glebe Park.
The league leaders gained the early advantage as Michael Mullen scored with a left-footed curler from the edge of the area.
But Brechin were back on level terms midway through the first period when Charlie King flighted a delightful free-kick into the top corner from 18 yards.
Andrew Graham had a good chance to restore Stirling's lead before the break but he headed wide when well placed.
In a second period bereft of clear cut chances City's best effort came when Kevin Byers shot wide from 25 yards and Stirling's Christoper Aitken missed the target from outside the area.
