Major League Soccer striker Sebastien Le Toux has been given the chance to stake a claim for a Premier League deal with Bolton after joining the club for training, manager Owen Coyle confirmed Thursday.
The France-born 28-year-old currently plays for the Philadelphia Union in the MLS and has enjoyed a successful spell with the outfit with 25 goals in 62 appearances.
Coyle said Wanderers were keen to assess Le Toux in training following positive scouting reports.
"We have received good reports about Sebastien, so we thought we would give him an opportunity to come into the group," Coyle said.
"He will train with us for a week and we will see where we are after that."
