The ex-Mannschaft midfielder is hopeful that Joachim Low's side will be victorious over the Azzurri in their Euro 2012 semi-final but admits it will be a hard-fought game
Former Germany midfielder Andreas Moller has backed his former team to win their Euro 2012 semi-final against Italy, but expects a tight affair and only to be decided by one decisive moment of "individual brilliance".
The Germans have impressed so far in reaching the last four having gone through the tournament unbeaten and Moller expects them to continue their run and emerge victorious over the Italians.
"It will have to be a game of patience," he said on dfb.de.
“I expect a moment of individual brilliance to decide the game similar to the group-stage match against Netherlands when Mario Gomez scored both goals in great fashion.
