Stranraer 5 : 0 Peterhead - Stranraer stroll to victory

Jamie Longworth continued his fine run of form as Stranraer moved into fourth place in Scottish League One by thrashing Peterhead 5-0 at Stair Park.
Longworth doubled his side's lead in the 59th minute with a fine finish into the bottom corner and then added his second nine minutes from time from close range to claim his seventh goal in eight games.
Willie Gibson had put Stranraer in front in the 20th minute with a fantastic free-kick into the top corner - his first goal in eight games.
Chris Aitken made it 3-0 with 22 minutes remaining from the penalty spot after Ryan Strachan brought down Craig Malcolm and substitute Daniel Stoney finished off the rout in the last minute.
Gibson and Frank McKeown also hit a post for the home side, who stretched their unbeaten run to seven games.
Peterhead forced Stranraer keeper David Mitchell into several saves as he kept out Jordon Brown, Rory McAllister and James Redman.
