Danny Kedwell scored a goal in each half as Ebbsfleet defeated Woking 2-1 in the Vanarama National League on Tuesday.
Reece Grego-Cox had a good chance to give Woking the lead 10 minutes before the break but his first-time shot was pushed wide by Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore.
However, the hosts broke the deadlock with four minutes of the opening half remaining after Sam Magri won a penalty when he was brought down, which Kedwell then converted.
Ebbsfleet doubled their advantage early in the second half when Kedwell struck the ball with such power and it rolled past Woking stopper Nathan Baxter in the 49th minute.
Substitute Charlie Carter pulled one back for Woking with a fine header seven minutes after replacing Grego-Cox to set up a close final quarter.
